Winter Weather Advisory for Clay County

The National Weather Service has placed Clay County and surrounding counties under a winter weather advisory beginning at 6:00 am on Tuesday, December 29. The advisory expires at 6:00 pm on Tuesday however road conditions could be impacted through Wednesday morning.

The National Weather service is expecting mixed precipitation. Total snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch.

If you have to be on the roads, plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5-1-1.
