/On Friday Evening, the Kearney School District released a letter, penned by Superintendent Dr. Matthew Miller, to provide an update on the preparations the district has been working on for the reopening of schools in the fall. The letter states that the district is preparing for the start of school on August 24th.

In the letter Dr. Miller also announced that the July 17th draft will include a survey that will ask for comments and feedback to help redefine the plan.
Dr. Miller concluded the letter by praising Kearney School District staff and the community for working together during the school closure this spring. “This teamwork will be critical to our successful return to school, a return which will provide new learning experiences for us all,” he stated. “We have a great opportunity ahead of us.”
