The Animal Clinic of Kearney and Paisley Stores Close Temporarily Due to Coronavirus

The Animal Clinic of Kearney, Paisley Candle & Home, and the Paisley Perk located on S. Jefferson Street voluntarily closed Tuesday, July 14th after an employee tested positive for Coronavirus. The closing is a precautionary measure to clean and sanitize the facilities and limit exposure and spread within the community.

The notice posted on the Paisley Candle & Home and the Paisley Perk Facebook pages informed the community that, “Due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19 at The Animal Clinic of Kearney, and our affiliation with them, we are currently closed”.

An employee at the Animal Clinic said that Clay County Health has advised them to inform patients or customers that if they maintained social distancing for less than 15 minutes and with masks or face coverings then they were not at risk.

The name of the employee who tested positive is not being released, and the Facebook notification stated that all three businesses will reopen Thursday, July 16th.
