Watkins Mill Hosts Halloween Safety Fair

Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site invites the public to bring family and friends to a fun and educational Safety Fair and Trunk-or-Treat from noon to 3 pm on Saturday, October 16. Watkins Woolen Mill State Historic Site staff members partner with the Missouri State Park Rangers and local community emergency service providers to host this event that includes a safety fair, interpretive activities and a trunk-or-treat at the swimming beach parking lot.

Area agencies invited to this event include Kearney Police Department and Kearney Fire and Rescue, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Excelsior Springs Police and Fire, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Life Flight, and more.
