Clay County Public Health Emergency Order Updated

The Clay County public health emergency order has been updated, effective immediately.

Restaurants, bars, and taverns may resume operating according to their permitted hours. Also, there is no more upper limit on gathering size, provided all attendees follow masking and social distancing guidelines. Events are no longer required to submit a mitigation plan.

Face masks must continue to be worn at all indoor spaces with more than one person per room or barrier-divided space. They should also be worn outdoors when physical distancing (six feet) cannot be maintained.

The order went into effect at 05:00P.M., February 21st , 2021.
