City Crews Replace Water Lines in Kearney

On Friday, February 26, the City of Kearney announced that crews will be doing water line replacements in the area of 8th and 9th Streets. The construction will occur from Marguerite Street to Prospect Street and on Grove Street from Washington Street to Boude Street.

Residents are advised that construction of the water line replacements will begin on Monday, March 1, and there may be some interruption of service during work times. The city website states that crews will attempt to notify residents in advance with door knockers.

The city asks that residents to be patient with construction and with the interruption construction activities cause as crews improve water service in the area.
