Kearney Enrichment Council Brings Back the Roaring 20’s

The Kearney Enrichment Council’s 1st annual fundraiser, “Golden Twenties Gala”, will take participants back to the Roaring 20’s with food, drinks, prizes and music from the Big Band Era.

“Golden Twenties Gala is quickly approaching, and we are in the final stretch with everything falling into place nicely,” according to a release from Executive Director Kurt Hamilton. “We are filled with appreciation for this community and the generosity that will make the event possible.”

The Golden Twenties Gala will be held on May 6th at the Tobacco Barn Farm from 6 – 10 pm. The ticket price is $65 a plate and includes appetizer, dinner and dessert, an open bar, and a raffle ticket. There will also be an auction, 1920’s costume contest, and big band music provided by The Overtones.

The Kearney Enrichment Council is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life in Kearney. The Enrichment Council leads programs like the Tech Café, mobile food distribution, Team Up to Clean Up, Spark Studios – STEAM-based after-school program, Summer Pass – STEAM-based summer camp, and more.
