The MariMack Golf Complex in Kearney is hosting a Basics Golf Clinic on June 26. The clinic will welcome all ages and skill levels.

The Basics Golf Clinic is taught by local instructor Jared Kenworthy who says he’s watched so many of his golfing friends struggle to improve their game.

“Even when golfers get a high quality diagnosis and excellent drills, they almost always fail for the same reason,” says Kenworthy on his website. “As soon as they try to take their new swings to the course they play worse. Sometimes they play much worse and eventually they just give up.”

Kenworthy started golfing at age 15, and since then has won several tournaments. He’s been studying the golf swing for the past 20 years. He started analyzing golf swings improve his own swing by using a more sophisticated technique than standard instruction.

The Basics Golf Clinic will be taught by Kenworthy on Saturday, June 26, from 2 – 3 pm at the MariMack Golf Complex, 525 S. Marimack Drive in Kearney. The cost for the clinic is $29.00.
