The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Timothy Margrave, 72, apparently jumped in the water at the Paradise Point boat ramp at about 3:30 Friday afternoon.

Margrave was not wearing a life jacket, and after jumping in to retrieve the boat he never resurfaced. His body was recovered later and released to the medical examiner.

Two weeks ago on June 20, Nicole Self from Pleasant Valley dove into the water to retrieve an item that fell overboard. Self was not wearing a life jacket, and she did not resurface. Self’s body was recovered the next day.
