Missouri Unemployment Down Slightly

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Missouri only lost two-tenths of a percent last month. It fell from 4.2% in July to 4.0% in August.

The national unemployment rate also fell two-tenths of a percent in the last month, settling at 5.2% in August. The estimated number of unemployed Missourians was 123,158 in August 2021, down by only 5,448 from July’s 128,606.
