The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Missouri Route 92 to through traffic between Missouri Route C and Plattsburg Road from Tuesday, May 3 to Tuesday, July 5. Missouri Route A will also be closed at Route 92 during that time.

These closures are part of road improvements to Route 92 that include:

Widening of the roadway from 11-foot to 12-foot lanes
Replacing box culverts
Resurfacing pavement

All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
