Fire Crews Battle Early Morning Blaze

The Arby’s Restaurant in Kearney, Missouri suffered a significant fire just before 8 am, on Saturday, April 9. Kearney Fire & Rescue Protection District was on the scene in less than two minutes to battle the blaze.

As firefighters arrived, they could see heavy black smoke coming from the roof, and approximately two hours later, crews had the fire under control.

Liberty Fire Department, Fishing River Fire District and Lawson Fire District assisted in putting out the blaze and securing the scene.

According to Kearney Fire & Rescue officials, this incident is under investigation with assistance from the Missouri State Fire Marshall’s Office. No civilians or Fire & Rescue personnel were injured in the incident.
