Enrichment Council Announces Summer Celebration

The Kearney Enrichment Council is known for hosting fun things for residents to do during the summer months. This year the Enrichment Council is excited to announce the creation Summer Celebration.

Summer Celebration will take place on the fourth Saturday in June, July and August. This event will combine Movies in the Park with Music in the Park to make a spectacular event series. In addition to movies and music, the Enrichment Council will add a carnival atmosphere to the activities and games. This event is free to the public.

The Kearney Enrichment Council is also offering booth space for businesses to promote themselves. This year businesses can provide their own activity in their booth, or run a carnival activity that the Council will provide. The Kearney Enrichment Council will continue provide the music, and movie as well as hot dogs, popcorn and snow cones.

Summer Celebration will take place on June 25, July 23, and August 27 in Lion’s Park by the band shell. Music and activities will begin at 5 pm and the movie will begin at 7 pm.
