Herzog Foundation Announces Over $6 Million of Economic Impact

The Herzog Foundation announced that it will drive $6.1 million into the Clay County economy over a two-year period. This $6.1 million grand total includes $1.7 million in tourism through Herzog Foundation conferences and training events and $4.4 million in job creation.

“Not only does the Herzog Foundation benefit Christian schools nationwide, but it also provides a direct economic benefit to the Clay County community,” said Herzog Foundation Chairman Todd Graves. “Clay County is already one of the fastest growing communities in Missouri, and the Herzog Foundation will only increase its economic growth.”

At approximately $270 in average daily spend, Herzog Foundation event attendees will spend three times more than the average Missouri tourist in 2022. In addition, Herzog Foundation employees have two times more economic impact in Missouri than the average state wage earner.

“We have an amazing team of employees at the Herzog Foundation, many of which reside in Clay County,” said Herzog Foundation President Darrell Jones. “We’re excited to continue growing our team here for many years to come.”
