After a two year break, the Kearney Senior Center is bringing back its Senior Information Fair. The fair will take place at the Senior Center, 600 N. Jefferson Street, on Thursday, June 2, from 9 am – 2 pm.

The information fair gives the area’s senior population a chance to network with vendors who specialize in senior services. Vendors will be on site to answer questions about housing, transportation, medical, and other services that affect senior citizens.

“Thirty vendors will be here with great information for senior citizens and children of seniors,” said Kathy Meinert. “This event is very beneficial to younger folks who have senior parents and grandparents, and could help them out in the future as their parents or grandparents age.”

The Senior Center will have door prizes, but visitors do not need to be present to win. The Senior Fair is free to the public.
