Work Continues on 92 Highway

Crews will work to widen Missouri Route 92, and this will require a full closure of MO-92 between Mt. Olivet Road and Route E. Access will be limited to residential, local traffic only. The closure will begin Aug. 2 and be in place until around Nov. 15. There will be a signed detour in place. All work is weather permitting.

This work is part of a larger MoDOT project to make improvements in the eastbound and westbound lanes on MO-92 from Missouri Route DD to Nation Road.  Additionally, Kansas City, Missouri will continue work on a separate project to complete an urgent repair on North Stark Ave.

For potential impacts to traffic, please review KC Scout cameras at http://www.kcscout.net or consult our real-time traffic partner, WAZE. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
