Mayoral Town Hall Meeting Set

Mayor Randy Pogue is setting up town hall informational meeting dates for residents to share concerns, complements or just talk with him. The next meeting is set for Thursday, August 25.

As your Mayor, I want to give YOU the opportunity to speak with me one on one - Mayor Randy Pogue

“As YOUR Mayor, I want to give YOU the opportunity to speak with me one on one. No Agenda. I want to hear from YOU,” Pogue posted on the city’s website. “I want to hear your thoughts, what you think we can do better, and your compliments!”

Residents are welcome to bring up any city-related topic. The Mayor has no set agenda for this town hall meeting. For instance earlier this month, residents informed Mayor Pogue about damage caused by the trash truck to the slurry sealed road, and poor workmanship on another road in the Cedar wood subdivision. Pogue worked with the contractor to have the areas repaired.

All residents are welcome to join in person, watch on the city’s YouTube channel, or join via Zoom. The town hall meeting is scheduled to take place from 8 – 9:30 pm at City Hall on Thursday, August 25.
