NFIB Endorses Hurlbert and Richey

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Missouri PAC endorsed 13 candidates for state Senate and 82 candidates for seats in the Missouri House. Representatives Josh Hurlbert and Doug Richey, who represent voters in the Kearney area, were among those the NFIB endorsed. The political action committee is comprised solely of NFIB members from throughout the state.

“This is a pivotal year for Missouri’s small businesses,” NFIB State Director Brad Jones said. “Main Street is contending with the worst inflation in decades, an overabundance of ‘help wanted’ signs, and punitively high taxes. Missouri needs a legislature that will address these issues and help this state’s economy get back on track.”

The NFIB Missouri PAC’s endorsements are based on candidates’ records and positions on small business issues.

“I'm proud to have a 100% voting record and to have been endorsed by the "Voice of Small Business" the NFIB,” stated Josh Hurlbert on social media.

This endorsement is important to these campaigns. Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls.

NFIB is the voice of small business, advocating on behalf of America’s small and independent business owners, both in Washington, D.C., and in all 50 state capitals. NFIB is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and member-driven. Since its founding in 1943, NFIB has been exclusively dedicated to small and independent businesses, and remains so today.
