Interstate Closure Delayed

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced that the latest scheduled lane closure on I-35 at mile marker 25 will be postponed to next week.

This particular part of the project was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 28. MoDot now plans to close the left lane of northbound I-35, at mile marker 25, for bridge construction on Tuesday, October 4 from approximately 6 am until 10 am.

This work is part a larger project which will construct a new interchange on I-35 at 19th Street (144th Street) about one mile south of Route 92.

The new interchange will cross over I-35 and will include ramps to and from I-35, as well as bike lanes and accommodate pedestrians with trail and sidewalk.

All work is weather permitting.
