Team Up to Clean Up This Weekend

The Kearney Enrichment Council is bringing back its Team Up to Clean Up event this weekend. Team Up to Clean Up is a great way to earn service hours for organizations or school groups.

The Enrichment Council will pare school groups, civic organizations, families, church groups and others with senior citizens in Kearney and Holt who need yard work done. This service is purely for senior citizens in the community, and to help make their yards more accessible. Volunteers will be asked to rake leaves and pick up sticks to take to the compost.

Teams will choose either a Friday or Saturday for their service, as this is when the Compost Center is open. Leaf bags will be provided, and for the teams that cannot take bags to the compost the Enrichment Council will arrange for their bags to be collected.
