Sheriff’s Office Investigating Hit and Run

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office notified KPGZ News of a fatal hit-and-run incident on Sunday.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident that happened sometime before 4 am in the area between A Highway and Fishing River Road. Deputies responded to that area on a report of a hit-and-run fatality accident.

The victim in the incident was 30-year old Paul R. Scheidecker. Traffic division investigators are working at reconstructing the scene, but they say the suspect vehicle did not stop after the wreck.
