Clay County To Launch Civic Academy

Clay County citizens have the opportunity to get their closest look yet at the inner workings of their County government.

The Civic Academy launches in the spring of 2024. The program is designed to give residents a better understanding of how government decisions are made, how County government departments are organized, and how tax dollars are being spent. Citizens will also have the opportunity to become more engaged with Clay County.

The Clay County Civic Academy is a six-week program to be held in the spring and fall. Sessions will occur weekly in the evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
