Golden Girls Get the Gold
/The Kearney High School Golden Girls dance squad earned the Division 3 State Championship for the third straight year during the 2024 competition on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Hy-Vee Arena in Kansas City, Mo.
The squad also earned trophies for taking first place in Division 3 Pom, second in Division 3 Precision, and first in Division 3 Overall.
Individual Honors
State Champion Freshman: Ainsley Daniels
10th Place Freshman: Jacee Hensley
State Champion Junior: Arie Watkins
9th Place Senior: Aubrey Taylor
2nd Place Senior: Sophia Frank
The Golden Girls are coached by Victoria Scanlan and Rachel Cerra.
