Track & Field Girls Medal at State

The Kearney High School Girls Track & Field team medaled in two events at the Missouri State High School Activities Association’s 2024 Class 4 championship meet on May 24-25.

The girls’ portion of the Class 4 state meet was exceptionally competitive this year with the addition of a few schools that dropped down from Class 5, according to Head Coach Geoff Hutton. The Bulldogs stepped up and had personal and season bests during the event.

“I was exceptionally proud of the ladies that competed in this tough meet and came away with some great performances,” Coach Hutton said. “The meet is always a great learning environment and hopefully the younger ladies will return looking to improve their standings.”
