At the Kearney Board of Alderman meeting on July 6th, the Board unanimously approved the CARES Kearney Small Business Grant Program.

*CARES will issue up to $100,000 in grant funds*

The CARES program will issue up to $100,000 in total grant funds to small businesses in Kearney. Small businesses can apply for a grant up to $5,000 to reimburse expenses related to COVID-19.

The Clay County EDC will be managing the grant applications for the City of Kearney. Applications will only be accepted from July 10th through July 24th.

To complete the application, business owners will need to refer to two separate documents. The first document is a checklist for the business to use. The second is the application that the business will submit to the Clay County EDC to apply for the funding. Clay County EDC's contact info is listed on both documents.
