Bulldogs Trounce Liberty North
/On Wednesday evening, the Kearney Bulldogs Varsity Boys Basketball team traveled to Liberty to take on Liberty North for the 2nd time this season. The game was rescheduled from a contest which was postponed on December 16th.
The Bulldogs controlled the game from the tip and locked down the floor effectively on defense.
Offensively, the Bulldogs continued the strong point distribution they have displayed all year. Brennan Watkins led the way with 20 points and Braxton Breedlove had 12 points. Ashton Holloway recorded a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds. Tyler Carr chipped in 6 points with 3 assists and 3 steals.
The Bulldogs were dominant throughout the entire game and walked away with a 50-33 victory.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Friday as they travel to Ruskin to complete the 3 game week of being road dogs.
