Education Foundation Ready for Turkey Trot

The Kearney School District Education Foundation is gearing up for the 10th Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot will be an in-person race this year, but for those unable to participate in-person, there is also a virtual race option. The in-person race will take place on Thursday, November 25, at 8:30 am at the high school stadium. The virtual race takes place Tuesday, November 23 - Sunday, November 28.

All registration fees help fund teacher innovation grants, special classroom projects, scholarships, and support the Cross Country Team.

Early bird Registration for participants goes through November 15, at 9:00 am. The registration fee is $20, which includes a Turkey Trot Race shirt. Late online registrations go through November 24, at 11:59 p.m. Late registration fee is $30 and race shirts will not be available. Race Day registration is $35 and race shirts will not be available at that time either.

Registration will be processed through ItsYourRace.com where participants may sign up as an individual. If racers know their login information from past races, they can select the "Type of Race" they wish to enter and the number of registrants.  

The Education Foundation is also now accepting sponsors at all levels. Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsors will have their logos placed on the Turkey Trot t-shirt. Donations must be received by October 31st for t-shirt inclusion.
