Josh Gray Resigns as Bulldog Head Football Coach

102.7FM News has learned Josh Gray has stepped down from his position as Kearney Head Football Coach saying, “I resigned from the head coach position today.”

Gray told KPGZ Sports, “I have enjoyed my time coaching in Kearney for the past 16 years. I have a lot of great memories of all the athletes I was fortunate to coach. My family and I are thankful for such a great community.”

Gray took over as head football coach at Kearney High School in 2017, replacing Greg Jones who continues as head football coach at Liberty North High School.

The Bulldogs finished 5-5 overall this past season with a district win over Winnetonka and a district playoff loss to Smithville.
