Crews will close all lanes of eastbound and westbound Route 92 between Liberty St. and Mount Olivet Rd., beginning on March 22 and continue through Saturday, May 1. for route improvement work. This will be a 24/7 closure of 92 Highway. All work is weather dependent.

This is all part of a multi-phase road widening and safety improvement project. Crews will widen lanes and shoulders along the route, turn lanes will be added and the route will be resurfaced. The project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2022. Complete details of the project can be found here.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
