Girls Soccer Team Wins in Home Opener

On Tuesday, the Bulldog girls soccer team enjoyed their first home game of the season. They played the Ruskin Golden Eagles and came away with a decisive win, beating the Eagles 10-0.

Several players shared in the glory as goals were as follows: Anya Dunn scored from a corner kick by Emma Weightman, two goals made by Melanie Smith, Emily Yakle, Emma Weightman, and Chelbi Brown, and Ashlee Knox made one goal.

The Bulldogs will travel to Grandview on Thursday. The Junior Varsity plays at 5pm, and the Varsity will play immediately following.
