Two Kearney Residents Involved in Interstate Crash

Two Kearney residents were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in a traffic incident that involved both lanes of I-35.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash, just north of Kearney at mile marker 27.8. The crash occurred when a vehicle driven by Kearney resident Pamela J. Adams traveled off the right side of the road. Adams overcorrected the vehicle and then crossed the median, all southbound lanes, traveled back off the road and struck several small trees. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

Adams suffered serious injuries and her passenger, an unidentified minor, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Liberty Hospital for treatment.
