The Bulldog boys swim team traveled to Blue Springs South on Saturday, August 28, to compete in the SouthRock Invitational. The boys finished 7th overall with a team score of 138 points. Below are the individual highlights from the meet:

Zach Pickle finished 16th in the 200yd IM with a 2:54.62
Adam Hoffman finished 12th in the 50yd freestyle with a 23.80
Adam Hoffman finished 8th in the 100yd butterfly with a 59.34
Scott Doll finished 1st in the 500yd freestyle with a 4:53.90
Parker Bartlett finished 13th in the 500yd freestyle with a 6:23.39
Lane Austin finished 9th in 100yd backstroke with a 1:06.09
Scott Doll finished 3rd in the 100yd breaststroke with a 1:04.65

The Varsity girls golf team competed in the Pirate Invitational in Platte City on Monday, August 30. The girls played well for their first tournament of the year and took 3rd place overall with a team score of 371. Below at the individual results:

Makenzi Kutch (Senior)- tie for 2nd place with a score of 81
Jessica Riley (Senior)- tie for 8th place with a score of 89.
Hailey Parker (Junior)- 16th place with a score of 95.
Anna Tourney (Junior)- 29th place with a score of 106.
Jojo Kutch (Sophomore)- first HS tournament of her career- tie for 35th place with a score of 111.

The girls go to Blue Springs and Adam's Pointe Golf Course on Thursday, September 2, to take on Grain Valley in a 9 hole match.
