Interstate Lane Closure Scheduled Wednesday

MoDOT crews will complete bridge repairs at southbound Interstate 35, north of Kearney at the bridge over Holt Creek (Muddy Fork). This will require the closure of the outside lane of southbound I-35 at mile marker 29.6 leading up to the bridge over Holt Creek (Muddy Fork). Repairs will take place from 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26 until 5 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27. There will be one lane open at all times during repairs. All work is weather permitting.

For potential impacts to traffic, please review KC Scout cameras at KCscout.net or consult our real-time traffic partner, WAZE. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
