Volleyball

Last week the Volleyball team faced off against Blue Springs, Staley and Ruskin. Blue Springs proved to be a tough start to the week, but all teams finished the week strong getting some wins!  The C-team did a great job at their tournament this weekend. They even beat Liberty North in 2 who had previously won in 3 at the first tournament! They fell short in the second round of bracket play to Olathe NW, who won the entire tournament. Overall the girls played well and had a great time.

The Varsity team played in the Blue Springs South tournament Saturday, October 1. The Bulldogs faced off against the #3 team in the nation, Fayetteville, Arkansas. The girls had some great competition, won some sets, but weren't able to string together wins. Conference play starts after a very tough out of conference schedule. The girls are motivated and confident to win a conference and district title this year.

Cross Country

The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed at Grain Valley on Saturday, October 1.

The girls finished 2nd behind class 5 powerhouse Blue Springs, coming in 11 points behind. This was the best the girls team has ran all year. The Bulldogs were the only team with 6 medalists.
