Bulldogs Continue to be Contenders in Track and Field

On Friday, April 22, the Boys and Girls Track and Field teams traveled to Liberty North to compete in the Varsity Invitational. The Bulldogs had some really good individual performances in many events and personal records. The boys finished 5th place overall and the girls finished in 4th place.

Here are some highlights from the competition:
Boys

  • 400 meter dash: Joe Marshall, 2nd place with a time of 53.13.

  • 110 meter hurdles: Luke Noland, 3rd place with a time of 16.58.

  • 300 meter hurdles: Luke Noland, 4th place with a time of 43.89.

  • 4x200 meter relay: 3rd place with a time of 1:32.92.

  • 4x400 meter relay: 3rd place with a time of 3:34.45.

  • High Jump: Zachary Proctor, 3rd place at 6-02.

  • Long Jump: Luke Noland, 5th place at 21-05.75.

  • Pole Vault: John Timchak, 4th place at 13-00.00.

  • Discus: Zach Grace, 3rd place at 164-11.50.

  • Javilin: Theo Grace, 5th place at 152-11.50

  • Shot Put: Zach Grace, 4th place at 46-05.00.

  • Shot Put: K.J. Smith, 5th place at 46-04.25.

 Girls

  • 800 meter run: Jadyn Barnes, 1st place with a time of 2:27.07.

  • 1600 meter run: Jadyn Barnes, 4th place with a time of 5:52.13.

  • 3200 meter run: Alex Kinstler, 3rd place with a time of 12:15.05.

  • 100 meter hurdles: Ava Lawless, 1st place with a time of 16.56.

  • 300 meter hurdles: Ryleigh Van Emmerick, 4th place with a time of 50.36.

  • 4x200 meter relay: 4th place with a time of 1:52.52.

  • 4x800 meter relay: Leila Murphy, Abby Smith, Caitlyn Wood, Abby Elam, 1st place with a time of 10:27.91.

  • Distance medley relay: Olivia Brock, Brianna Reynolds, Gracie Bomar and Alex Kinstler, 2nd place with a time of 14:25.48.

  • Triple Jump: Ava Lawless, 1st place at 36-02.25.

  • Pole Vault: Anna Williams, 4th place at 8-00.00.
