Roberts Robertson Hosts Grunhard Book Signing
/Roberts Robinson Chevrolet Buick GMC is hosting a book signing for Chiefs Hall of Honor Inductee Tim “Grunny” Grunhard. The former Chiefs center was enshrined in the Chiefs Hall of Honor in 2021.
Roberts Robertson is inviting Chiefs fans to meet and greet with Grunhard at a special book signing event. Grunhard’s book, Tim Grunhard: View from the Center will be available for purchase and signing at the event. There will also be refreshments and raffle drawings.
Grunhard made 120 consecutive starts at center over a ten-year period for the Kansas City Chiefs after joining the team as a second-round pick. He also helped lead the way for Coach Marty Schottenheimer’s grind-it-out styled offense, termed “Marty-Ball”. By the end of the '90s he was a Pro Bowl player on teams that finished among the NFL's top five rushing offenses in four of his final six seasons.
Grunhard’s book signing will take place at Roberts Robinson Chevrolet Buick GMC, 1501 Kearney Road in Excelsior Springs, on Thursday, September 22 from 11 am – 1 pm. The event is free to the public.
