Rotary Club Begins Annual Shoe Drive

The annual Kearney Rotary Club Shoe Drive is asking the community for help this year. The Rotary Club collects new shoes for kids 0-18 years old, new laces, new socks, and cash donations.

These donations go to help kids in America, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic so they will have the shoes necessary to be allowed in school.

Donations can be dropped off at REMAX Advantage, 300 S Platte Clay Way, Ste A, Kearney, Baldwin Insurance Agency, 200 N Jefferson St., Ste A, Kearney, or with any Kearney Rotarian.

The Rotary district that includes Kearney will gather new shoes, socks and laces from all over Missouri. Their donation goal for 2023 is 15,199 pairs of new shoes. Those wishing to make a financial donation can make out a check to Kearney Rotary Club.
