Worlds of Fun Changes Attendance Policy

After another massive teen brawl on Saturday, Worlds of Fun has announced a change in its attendance policy.

Worlds of Fun now requires people 15 years old and younger, and visiting the park after 4 pm, to have an adult with them. The supervising adult has to be at least 21 years old and has to be available by phone at all times.

Park guests who appear under 15 years old will be asked to show ID by Worlds of Fun security officers.

This change comes after the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Kansas City Police and Worlds of Fun park security removed about 150 teenagers on Saturday because of a large fight.

A teenage girl who refused to leave Worlds of Fun reportedly punched a deputy in the face. She was arrested and later released to her parents.
