Police Ask for Help Finding Flag Thief

Liberty Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole American Flags from area businesses.

Liberty Police asked the public’s help through their social media pages and posted a surveillance picture of the man carrying what they state is American Flags to his red pickup. Police accuse the man of going to businesses in the Heartland Meadows Industrial Parks at Heartland Drive and 69 Highway in Liberty.

Investigators claim the man stole the American flags that were flying from tall poles in front of the buildings. They believe he has stolen other flags from other locations, but businesses haven’t reported the thefts.
