The City of Kearney will hold a public hearing to receive public comments regarding proposed changes to the City’s parking restriction ordinance. The hearing will take place at Kearney City Hall on Monday, September 18th, at 6:30 pm.

The city’s current parking restriction ordinance has been in effect since 1984 and is proposed to be updated to alleviate traffic and public safety concerns.

The Board of Aldermen would like to hear comments regarding the proposed ordinance. Residents can share their comments with the Kearney Board of Aldermen and the Mayor at the hearing.

If residents cannot attend the public hearing, they may email comments to Sheila Ernzen at sernzen@kearneymo.us, no later than Friday, September 15, 2023, so that they can be read during the meeting.
