Free Ice Cream Social on Missouri’s Birthday

The Clay County Bicentennial Commission will be hosting a free ice cream social on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 at the Clay County Courthouse, located at 1 Courthouse Square in Liberty. The ice cream social will be the first of several celebrations planned for Missouri and Clay County’s bicentennials.

Governor Mike Parson made Clay County the first stop on his state-wide Bicentennial Tour that began on Thursday, July 8. The Bicentennial Tour has planned stops at historical sites and in communities across Missouri from July to Missouri Statehood Day on August 10, 2021.
