Kearney High School has had a pattern of selecting head coaches who are either alumni or in-house candidates.

Time is running out for fans to hear the crack of the bat and the words “play ball” - even in a shortened Major League Baseball season. Team owners have proposed a number of plans. All of which have been declined with only one counter offer from the Major League Baseball Players Association.

The Mid-Continent Public Library will resume select in-branch services beginning Tuesday, June 16. The first hour of in-branch service will be reserved for customers ages 60+ and other members of populations vulnerable to COVID-19. Curbside service, which the Library launched on May 18, will continue to be available for customers to pick up items they have put on hold.
