The Kearney School District Board of Education has appointed Dr. Todd White as Interim Superintendent. The appointment was approved during the Board’s business meeting last night, July 21, 2021.

Professional Bull Riding Returns to Kearney

Better In The Saddle Equine Assisted Programs is bringing their annual bull riding event back to Kearney this summer. The event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 30 and 31 at Jesse James Park.

Excessive Heat Expected Through Next Week

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Watch for the Kansas City metro area from Friday, July 23 to Wednesday, July 28. Heat index values of up to 105 degrees are possible through this period.
